Will the Huawei FreeBuds Pro compete with the AirPods Pro?
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro are the new true wireless headphones of the Chinese company, presented today during the Huawei Developer Conference and ready to do battle with the other high-end headsets on the market.
After the success of the FreeBuds 3, the Asian giant has decided to offer something more to its users, churning out a premium product that seems destined to annoy Apple’s highly appreciated AirPods.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro, the new true wireless headphones
Forget the design of the FreeBuds 3. This time we change the music. The FreeBuds Pro they come up with a very short and square rod and abandoned the half-in-ear design in favor of a rubber pad that will go directly to our ear canal. All this without sacrificing comfort. On the contrary, the new headphones of the Chinese company aim to be extremely comfortableready to be worn practically all day.
The new aesthetic, however, is only one of the changes made by Huawei. The FreeBuds 3 indeed offer new ones 11mm dynamic drivers and a noise cancellation system based on artificial intelligence. The product will then be able to recognize external noise and choose one of the 3 ANC modes available without you having to intervene. It’s all automatic.
Don’t like isolation? There is the Aware mode to listen to the surrounding environment but also the Voice mode to amplify the speaker’s voice without interrupting music playback.
Connectivity has also been improved, with Bluetooth 5.2 now allowing simultaneous connection to two different devices, while the battery guarantees about 4 hours of use with ANC activated and up to 7 without noise cancellation.
The case, on the other hand, now even more compact, gives you up to 30 hours music playback. Really not bad.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro will arrive on the market in 3 colors: Black, White and Silver. The price? 179 euros. For the release date, however, we should wait for the next few days.
