Almost 40 years have passed since the first Rocky movie came to change the way we saw the world of boxing, and what better way to celebrate that anniversary than with a spinoff that, in my opinion, it has the potential to become as good a series as Rocky’s. But as Bruno Mars would say: Don’t believe me; Just look:

The movie will star Michael B. Jordan, who will play Adonis Creed; the son of Apollo Creed. Michael B. Jordan will also play Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot, and taking into account the importance of both franchises to fans, this could be a year of glory or doom for the young actor. Sylvester Stallone will return as Rocky Balboa, but this time around he will stick to the role of coach / father figure, akin to what Mickey Goldmill was for Rocky.
