Twin Mirror, a new title resulting from the union of forces between the French studio DONTNOD Entertainment and Bandai Namco, it showed itself more thoroughly within a very first Dev Diary.

Inside the movie Oskar Guilbert, CEO of DONTNOD, addresses and explains the origins and inspiration that led to the birth of Twin Mirror.

The gameplay at the base of the title acts as a pivot, which can in fact be defined as an attempt at a breakthrough compared to many other games belonging to similar veins.

The video game signed by the French studio will in fact develop into a series of investigative actions and sequences, and within which all decisions, conclusions and interactions with the characters can affect the continuation and the final result of the adventure.

The plot of the investigative adventure

The CEO also uses the video to provide some more details on the title that, from the presentation made by Sony only a few days before E3 2018 in Los Angeles, he kept his cards fairly covered.

Guilbert himself has therefore decided to break this veil of mystery to talk about the protagonist of the signed title DONTNOD Entertainment. The main character is in fact an investigative journalist named Samuel who, after waking up in a hotel room with only a bloody shirt and no memories, decides to start what will prove to be the most intense investigation of the his life, so as to find out what happened.

To be able to see it at work, however, we will have to wait until an as yet unspecified period of 2019, when Twin Mirror will arrive on consoles Playstation 4, Xbox One and on PC via Steam.
