This is how Apple Campus 2 is evolving

Every month since construction began on Apple Campus 2, YouTuber Mathew Roberts has been posting a full drone-view video in which we can see how the work has evolved. During the first weeks of construction, the work progressed more quickly than at present, as currently tasks are focused on completing the exterior and interior of the buildings, as well as installing the large number of solar panels with which the company wishes to supply the Campus 2 facilities.

As can be seen in the video, most of the solar panels are located in the upper part of the circular building where we can also still find areas without solar panels, areas of which we do not know at the moment what they are for. will be used. But given the scale of Campus 2, Apple intends to be able to obtain 75% of the energy neededwhile the rest will be obtained from external companies that have solar panel fields.

But not only is the main building covered in solar panels, but the company also wanted to take advantage of the parking area to add more sunlight and thus be able to obtain more energy to maintain the installations.

The gym area, with an area of ​​100,000 square feet available only to employees, has already been completed. The auditorium, where Apple will hold upcoming low-level presentations, is covered at the top. this auditorium It will have a capacity of more than 1,000 people. Most of the exterior enclosure will be covered in curved glass panels that were brought directly from Germany and were manufactured specifically for Apple's Campus 2.
