The Paper House arrives in Korea: a Squid Game actor will be Berlin

After the success of Squid Game in the West, the role seems to be reversed and Netflix thinks of the Korean version of The House of Paper. Guess who will take on the role of Berlin?

A Squid Game actor will be Berlin in The House of Paper

No, it won’t be a crossover episode and the news is true, although it may sound strange. Also because the two series, as reiterated by the protagonists themselves, are the polar opposite. The Paper House is the resistance, with a group of criminals fighting against a system deemed unjust. Squid Game instead represents the desperation of individuals, who, without too many scruples, lend themselves to a game for their own gain. How then can the two worlds unite? Well somehow it happened, but let’s start from the beginning.

The paper role-playing game of Desperados III arrives

After the Western success of Squid Game, Netflix Korea has decided to try their hand at new productions. Among these there will also be Money Heistwhich will be nothing more than an Asian re-adaptation of The House of Paper. And here the magic happens: in the role of Berlin there will be one of the protagonists of Squid Game: Park Hae-Soo, who in the Squid Game played Cho Sang-woo, the very intelligent childhood friend of the protagonist Gi-hun. Among the producers of Money Heist we find Alex Pina, the same actor who plays The Professor in the Spanish version. The director will be instead Kim Hong-sun.
