The dogs playing Halo and Minecraft protagonists of the Microsoft commercial

The dogs playing Halo and Minecraft protagonists of the Microsoft commercial

Microsoft’s Christmas ads have always amazed us over the years, but this time the company – or rather, its creative department – really managed to blow us away. This year, in fact, the protagonists are two dogs. And that’s not all. In the commercial, these cute furry ones dream of running into the virtual world of Minecraft, playing grenade-grabbing in Halo and even flying through the skies in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Believe it, it’s amazing. And if you want to see it for yourself, we leave you the video below.

Microsoft: two dogs protagonists of the Christmas advertisement

“A Dog’s Dream” is the advertisement with which Microsoft has decided to wish happy holidays to its customers. An unusual spot, but with a strong and clear message: “Find your joy”. And this is precisely the goal of the two bored dogs protagonists of the advertisement. Wandering around the house, they find the owners intent on playing Halo, engaging in business video calls on Microsoft Teams or creating materials in Minecraft.

And so, while one of the two goes to sleep, he dreams of being able to join video games and video calls. An absolutely brilliant idea, especially if you notice the Master Chief’s reaction when one of the two dogs brings back the grenade he threw, almost as if it were a ball.

Let’s say Microsoft has already amazed us with funny advertisements in the past. In 2017, for example, the company launched a commercial in which it had transformed 3D Paint into something with adorable little monsters moving around. But nothing that can really compete with the two dogs protagonists of this spot. And not two ordinary dogs, but two dogs who love to play video games.

Let us tell you: it’s really fun. And if the company wants to wish us joy in these holidays, we can certainly recognize that they managed to get us a smile with this spot.
