The complete archive of “Jeopardy!” »

While browsing the net I came across the complete archive of Jeopardy!, one of the quintessential geek TV shows. Created by Merv Griffon on 1964, Danger! he invented the concept of a television program that would challenge participants' knowledge in different fields, from pure science to popular culture.

Of September 10, 1984the show was broadcast continuously on UNITED STATES, and has even been adapted for several international versions. On Mexico, had a local version between 1998 and 2000; on Spain broadcast in 2007.; and in Argentina It has been broadcast from 2006 to the present. Viewers from all over the world gathered around the small screen to challenge each other in different disciplines of knowledge.

There's hardly a quiz show on television that isn't inspired by Danger!. Even some mathematicians have studied contest dynamics in game theory. Curiously, certain episodes from the first period (1964 – 1975) are preserved in the film and television archives of the UCLA. The show has inspired several video games; Nintendo, for example, published the first version in 1987; while in 2008, Sony released its adaptation for PlayStation 3.
