Tesla postpones its electric semi-articulated Tesla Semi
Tesla decided on the postponement in 2021 Of Tesla Seedsits Class 8 fully electric semi-articulated vehicle presented by the company a November 2017.
Tesla Semi’s postponement to 2021
In a brief note that does not offer many other details Tesla stated that “We are postponing the first deliveries for Tesla Semi to 2021”. We therefore do not know what problems in particular have caused this delay, although most likely the current pandemic has to do with COVID-19. Tesla, like other companies of Elon Muskis also not new to promising unrealistic dates (Tesla Semi himself was supposed to come out in 2019) and then be forced to postpone the launch of a particular product.
Tesla Semi, when it comes out, will have according to Tesla the ability to travel for 500 miles (about 800 kilometers) with a single charge. It will also be able to reach a speed of 65 miles per hour (about 104 km / h). Companies like Walmart And Anheuser-Busch they had shown interest and had pre-ordered some vehicles.
