Splinter Cell coming to Netflix with an animated series

The adaptations of Netflix dedicated to the world of video games. After making a live action of The Witcher, in fact, the streaming platform is preparing to make one animated series dedicated to Splinter Cell. The popular play video series, treated as The Witcher from a series of novels, will soon arrive in the already large Netflix catalog.

Animated series coming to Splinter Cell by Netflix

Splinter Cell is preparing to turn into an animated series for Netflix. The project, created by the streaming platform in collaboration with Ubisoft, provides for the realization of two seasons for a total of 16 episodes which will arrive on Netflix in the near future. The launch of the animated series could be parallel to the launch of a new episode of the Splinter Cell videogame series, stopped since 2013.

At the moment, the information on the animated series starring Sam Fisher is still very little. Most likely, more details will come in the next few weeks. The series should have replaced the project of the film, in production for several years with Tom Hardy as possible protagonist. The project in question may have been permanently canceled, also due to the failure of the Assassin’s Creed film.

The new Splinter Cell series will undoubtedly be dubbed in Italian by Netflix. The voice of Sam Fisher should be, once again, that of Luca Ward, one of the best known and most appreciated voice actors on the Italian scene who has already played the protagonist in his playful video version.
