SEAT: the Kickstart Challenge on the future of mobility

SEAT held his these days Startup Challengean event where the company gave some students the chance to demonstrate their talent.

The objective was to select professionals to join the Kickstart program. More than 120 young people, among the more than 360 who participated in the event, showed their skills by solving specific challenges. The theme they identified with revolved around to the future of mobility in fields related to technology, business or the digital world.

The Kickstart Challenge was created to assess talent in action on a new methodology that adds value to participating candidates and SEAT tutors. The selected talents will compete for a place in Kickstart, a program for interns and master's students who will spend 6 to 12 months in different areas of SEAT.

The event

The challenge was divided into four main sections. In the first, entitled “Visions & Discourses”, a lecture series provided insights into other participants' experiences and the latest technology trends. The objective is to stimulate candidates to find innovative solutions. Another part of the program concerned the so-called “Quick Dating”. Candidates underwent quick interviews in succession to give SEAT tutors the opportunity to get to know all participants. This was one of the key points of the event to create an atmosphere of participatory and collaborative trust.

There were several Workshop specialized in various issues related to the future of calls for mobility #StopsOfTheFuture. These workshops represent some of the areas in which the campaign winners will work during their time at SEAT. The different areas concern project management, connected cars, sales, e-commerce, factory 4.0, commerce and the Internet of Things.
