ROG Phone 5, presented the new series of gaming smartphones

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has just announced three new gaming smartphones: ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. Let’s find out the prices and specifications of the new ROG Phone 5, the most advanced gaming smartphones in the world.

The new line of ROG Phone 5 gaming smartphones: all the specifications

The series ROG Phone 5 it is powered by the latest processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform with advanced 5G connectivity and supports Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming premium features. The renewed heat dissipation system, GameCool 5together with the brand new performance management system, integrated into Armory Crate, ensure the maximum possible performance in any game scenario.

For ultra-smooth, ultra-responsive game graphics, the ROG Phone 5 series features an AMOLED certified display with HDR10 + support, refresh rate up to 144Hz, 1ms response time and a very low touch latency of just 24.3 ms. The display offers an extremely smooth gaming experience.

Gamers can play longer with the ROG Phone 5 series thanks to the incredible 6000 mAh battery. Inside the package there is also a 65 watt HyperCharge adapter, to recharge the battery in the shortest possible time.

There is also a rear display – ROG Vision, available exclusively on ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate – which shows customizable animations, in response to a variety of system and game events. ROG Phone 5 Pro features a color ROG Vision display, while ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features a monochrome version.

There are also huge improvements to the AirTriggers 5, the revolutionary control system, still unrivaled today, and the powerful GameFX audio system, which has been overhauled to offer even more immersive sound. Smartphones are also equipped with 3.5mm headphone jack input.

Availability and prices

ROG Phone 5 will be available in Italy in two colors (Phantom Black and Storm White) and in three different configurations (8 / 128GB, 12 / 256GB, 16 / 256GB), two of which are already available for pre-order on the official ASUS website:

• Already available for pre-order on the official ASUS website, ROG Phone 5 in the configuration from 16GB of RAM And 256GB of storage at a recommended retail price of € 999.00. It will be on sale soon at the ASUS Gold Store and Unieuro.
• ROG Phone 5in the configuration from 12GB of RAM And 256GB of storageis available for pre-order on the official ASUS website, and, in the coming weeks, at the ASUS Gold Store and on Unieuro, at a recommended retail price of € 899.00.
• In the end, ROG Phone 5in the configuration from 8GB of RAM And 128GB of storagewill be available in April exclusively on the official ASUS website, at a recommended retail price of € 799.00.

ROG Phone 5 Pro (16 / 512GB), made exclusively in the finish Phantom Blackwill be available in April, at a recommended retail price of € 1,199.00.

ROG Phone 5 Ultimate (18 / 512GB) will, however, be available in a limited edition on the official ASUS website and only in the finish Storm White in Mayat a recommended retail price of € 1,299.00.
