Resident Evil Village is part of a trilogy ending with Resident Evil 9, explains a well-known insider
Resident Evil would conclude the story seen in RE 7, and now in Village, with a third installment that would form a trilogy.
The closer you get, the more you hear about what promises to be one of the releases of the year. Resident Evil Village is positioned as a must for horror fans and, of course, of the saga, but although it has not been released, we are already beginning to talk about a continuation.
Resident Evil 7 posed a change of perspective, literally, for the Capcom saga. With a twist that left the most beastly action aside, this installment presented us with a new protagonist and a plot that still has a lot to reveal.
Resident Evil Village intends to reveal part of those unknowns that the end of RE 7 left us, but what if the narrative took us beyond Village. Resident Evil 9 has come back to the fore by the hand of one of the most famous filter feeders associated with the series.

Would you like the saga to follow other paths in the future? Meanwhile, the director of Resident Evil Village has reaffirmed the importance of PS5 3D audio in future horror games.
