Ni No Kuni The Threat of the Ashen Witch returns to console
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe announced the upcoming release for PlayStation 4 and PC of Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the Ashen Witch Remastered, a modernized version of the unforgettable RPG that debuted in 2013, featuring new and richer graphics.
In addition, the original version of Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the White Witch will be released on the Nintendo Switch, making it available for the first time on a portable gaming system. Both titles will go on sale starting in 20 September 2019.
Ni no Kuni: Threat of the Ashen Witch Remastered for PlayStation 4 and PC boasts numerous graphical improvements, made by QLOC, which make the game even better. PlayStation 4 owners will benefit from 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, while PlayStation 4 Pro gamers will be able to choose between real 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, or 1440p at 60 frames. PC gamers will be able to play up to 4K and 60 FPS.
Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the White Witch for Nintendo Switch marks the game’s debut on a portable system adapted by Engine Software. The game runs at 720p resolution at 30 frames per second in both TV and portable mode. Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the Ashen Witch for Nintendo Switch keeps the combat system unaltered, which combines real-time action and turn-based tactical elements and re-proposes without exception the dozens of places and hundreds of creatures that give life to the gigantic and colorful universe of Ni no Kuni.

Originally developed by LEVEL-5, Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the White Witch is a compelling story told beautifully through the animated sequences scripted and drawn by the legendary Studio Ghibli and the formidable soundtrack of the famous composer Joe Hisaishi.
Ni no Kuni: The Menace of the White Witch tells the adventure of Oliver, a boy who embarks on an extraordinary journey to another world to try to bring back his mother who disappeared in a tragic accident. With a copy of the precious Abbecedabra in hand, and being able to count on the help of the faithful Lucciconio, the young Oliver will cross fantastic and wonderful lands, will learn to tame the familiars, to face insidious opponents and to overcome the infinite challenges that stand between him and the salvation of his mother.
