Ni No Kuni II: The Destiny of a Kingdom enters the Gold phase
We are getting closer to the launch of Ni No Kuni II: The Destiny of a Kingdom, a sequel to the acclaimed RPG developed by LEVEL-5 Inc. in collaboration with the Studio Ghibli. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announces that the title has officially entered in the Gold phase and is therefore ready to be placed on the market.
For the occasion, a behind-the-scenes video was also released that shows us the background of the game’s development at the LEVEL 5 studios.
Ni No Kuni II: The Thrilling Story of a Young King
Ni No Kuni II: The Destiny of a Kingdom (Revenant Kingdom) will tell us a new story, with a new protagonist and a new world to explore. The events of the plot takes place hundreds of years after those exposed in the first chapter – entitled The Menace of the White Witch – and will put us in the shoes of a young King, Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, determined to reclaim his kingdom after being kicked out of his own castle.
The gameplay incorporates much of the mechanics introduced in the prequel, so let’s talk about a Open-world RPG where the player has the opportunity to explore different scenarios, control multiple characters and participate in exciting battles. In this regard, the combat system has been updated to allow us to move freely on the battlefield and damage enemies with melee attacks, spells and with the so-called Higgledies, of the little creatures that will assist us by casting powerful spells.
It will be there March 22, 2018 the day when Ni No Kuni II will arrive in stores, while on 23 March it can also be downloaded in digital format on PlayStation 4 And PC.
