New episodes of Maradona: Sogno Benedetto on Amazon Prime Video and the photographic exhibition in Naples
The last two episodes of Maradona: Sogno Benedetto, released yesterday on Amazon Prime Video, retraced the period of the Pibe de Oro in Naples.
Maradona: Blessed Dream – 10 episodes on Amazon Prime Video
Maradona: Blessed Dream is the 10-episode biopic series that follows the triumphs and challenges of the legendary Pibe de oro. A journey that starts from humble origins in Villa Fiorito, in Argentina, his native country, up to the revolutionary career at Barcelona and then at Naples. Episodes 6 and 7 of the Amazon Prime Video series are dedicated to the Neapolitan team, which welcomed the Argentine champion from 1984 to 1991. A team to which Maradona gave memorable victories: 2 league titles, the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup. A period that Neapolitan fans remember well and with nostalgia, so much so that Maradona was given the nickname of D10s.
After the story linked to Italy, the series will narrate the key role of the Argentine footballer in leading his national team to win the World Cup in Mexico in 86. The first seven episodes are already available exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories. Here’s when the remaining three will come out:
- November 12: episode 8 (episode set in Naples)
- November 19: episode 9
- November 26: episode 10
In addition, the photographic exhibition is open until 9 November, set up inside the station of Central Naples at the gallery Garibaldi. It is an exhibition point that traces the personal life and football career of the champion through the unique images of the series. Here are some shots of the exhibition.
