Minecraft Earth now available in Italy in Early Access
Xbox Game Studios announced that theEarly Access Of Minecraft Earth is now available in Italy for players on iOS and Android.
This is the mobile version free-to-play of Minecraft, which combines the Augmented reality with a new version of the hugely popular game based on the Bedrock engine. Microsoft updates the list of countries that can access Minecraft Earth in Early Access on a weekly basis, to make the game fully available worldwide by the end of the year. This will give players the opportunity to test and give feedback on the title, contributing to the creation of the ultimate gaming experience.
Early Access introduces new features over the closed beta, including:
- Adventures: small worlds, automatically generated and with a limited time duration, which allow you to play life-size Augmented Reality
- New variants of mobs, mergers and crafting: new friendly or hostile mobs to meet, such as the “adorable” Muddy Pig, Moodbloom, Jumbo Rabbit and Cluckshroom. In addition, through fusion, you can transform minerals into ingots and with crafting you can create the objects you need (of course, if you have the right materials), instead of having to search for them.
Adventures are possible thanks to two specific Microsoft technologies. First, the dedicated servers Azure PlayFab that make Minecraft Earth multiplayer mode possible by hosting both Build Plates and adventures. Second, the implementation by Azure Spatial Anchors (ASA) makes it possible to share experiences and persist content in Augmented Reality. This means that when players reach the park near their home and find an abandoned mine full of treasures, Minecraft Earth uses ASA services to introduce everyone to the same adventure.
