League of Legends finally arrives on iOS with the iPhone 12

Apple has confirmed that League of Legends: Wild Rift will be available for its mobile devices for the first time in history.

It's already a reality: League of Legends: Wild Rift is coming to iOS. This is the first time a game from the popular franchise has been available for a platform other than PC or Mac, making it the first mobile title in the series.

This was confirmed by Apple during its October 13 event. Although it focused on all the new features of the iPhone 12, the company did not miss the opportunity to present the new game League of Legends, which is an adapted version of its game for PC.

We also know that League of Legends: Wild Rift will also be available for Android and a few lucky people have already been able to test its beta version in Southeast Asia on both platforms. For the moment, we do not know when its official launch will take place.

If we let our intuition carry us away, it would make sense that it would come out around the time the new iPhone does as well. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will hit stores on October 23, while the Pro models will do so on November 13.

Like in the original game, players will be able to compete against other teams with the goal of destroying the opponent's Nexus. Players will earn points the more they fight. Accumulating items also helps with leveling up.

But this was not the only novelty brought by the Apple Event on October 13. In addition to the new iPhones and a new ecosystem of accessories called MagSafe, Cupertino released the new HomePod mini.
