Keep your Apple Watch clean with our tips
The Apple Watch will accompany us closer to us than any other device throughout the day, and that inevitably, as curious as we are, generates dirt. Therefore, today in iPad News we are going to give you some good advice on how to keep your Apple Watch clean and careful so that it can always look as it deserves on your wrist. The watch is a piece that says a lot about a person, that is why its elegance, its combination and above all its cleanliness are essential in any situation.
Cleaning the Belt
The Apple Watch Sport strap, for example, is made of a material called fluoroelastomer, andThis is a plus, since its cleaning and maintenance will not require too complicated measuresWith a little soap and hot water, always removed from the Apple Watch will be more than enough.
On the other hand, the rest of the buckles will require a more careful cleaning, with a slightly damp microfiber cloth it will be more than enough for maintenance. But we must remember that for the care of the leather strap it is recommended not to submerge or overdo it with water, since it could cause a wear of the color and the material.
The screen
Apple has not specified any type of procedure or recommended materials for cleaning, therefore we will refrain from using any type of corrosive chemical agent, we will focus on cleaning with water and microfiber cloths such as glasses for example. If we find it excessively greasy or sweaty, my recommendation is to use the typical Wipes that are sold for cleaning glasses, is the method that I have always been using on the screen of my iDevices.
Buttons and Digital Crown
Dirt and dust can often get stuck between the tiny gaps in these two interface media, which can be annoying and ruin the user experience. To clean them follow these simple steps:
- Take the Apple Watch out of the straps.
- Turn off the Apple Watch (Press and hold the button until the shutdown screen appears)
- Place the Apple Watch under warm water and press the buttons gently
- Perform this action as many times as necessary
- Dry the Apple Watch with a cloth that does not leave a cotton or fiber residue
We hope, if you are one of the lucky owners of an Apple Watch that these tips will help you, and if you have any more to recommend, do not hesitate to write them in the comments.
