iTransmission 5 now available on Cydia with support for iOS 9

Have you ever wanted to download a torrent from iOS and were left wanting? There are web clients for the BitTorrent network, that is, clients that work on virtually any device and without having to install anything, but these clients have certain limitations. It's best to have a 100% functioning client, like iTransmission 5the iOS client already available on Cydia.

iTransmission 5 comes with a few new features, such as official iOS 9 support or, much more importantly, the ability to open links directly from safari, as we can do from any computer. iTransmission 5 allows us to click directly on a Magnet link, so we no longer need to press and hold a Magnet, open iTransmission, add a task, paste and start downloading.

iTransmission 5 includes notifications

As in its version for computers, iTransmission 5 will allow us download torrent files in background and, once one has been completely downloaded, we will receive a notification. On the other hand, memory consumption has also been reduced, which is always important if we are going to leave it in the background.

iTransmission 5 is a free adjustment which is available in the BigBoss repository. If you have a jailbroken device, installing it is as easy as doing a search and installing the tweak. But if you don't jailbreak, all is not lost; you can dump it with Xcode by following, for example, THIS TUTORIAL. Dumping apps with Xcode is still the same but logically we need to get the .deb package for the app we want to install. You can download the iTransmission 5 .deb from the BigBoss repository or by clicking THIS LINK. Of course, you have to remember that Apple has changed the validity period of certificates, so you will have to carry out the process once every seven days.
