HyundaiOfficial Partner of FIFA from 1999 to 2022, is sponsor of the eighth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cupwhich starts today and will be played in France until July 7, between the cities of Paris, Lyon, Nice, Montpellier, Rennes, Le Havre, Valenciennes, Reims and Grenoble.

In addition to providing 96 cars – including the most successful models such as Santa Fe, Tucson and Kona, for FIFA logistics and travel – Hyundai designed for fans various initiatives who, under the motto “True Passion”, want to pay tribute to female players and the incredible strength with which they overcome challenges and prejudices.

Digital content which will highlight the stories of ten players from Olympique Lyonnais and Chelsea, but also specific initiatives such as the “Match Predictor presented by Hyundai  » and the  » Hyundai Goal of the Tournament», which will respectively allow supporters to try to predict the results and statistics of matches, and to vote for their favorite goal on the website and via the FIFA App.

Also, during the final and semi-finals, a FIFA fan experience zone will come to life in front of the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, the Lyon stadium: here, fans will be able to try out football-themed matches, take photos and selfies, and discover the brand's models up close.

On the women's side

With the sponsorship of the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019in addition to reaffirming its support for the world of sport, Hyundai he also wants to highlight the attention paid to women, who often find themselves having to fight to assert themselves with difficulty, and not only in the sporting field.

FIFA Women's World Cup

The Women's World Cup – which has taken place every 4 years since its first edition in China in 1991 – is a global competition in which professional women's national teams that are part of FIFA compete.

The 2019 Women's World Cup will be played between 24 national teams from Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, Canada, Jamaica, United States, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, England, France, Germany, Italy, Countries- Bas, Norway, Scotland, Spain and Sweden.

Hyundai's long-standing partnership with FIFA began in 1999, and since then the brand has been the official automotive partner of all FIFA World Cups since 2002, as well as many other FIFA tournaments. In 2010 Hyundai extends sponsorship deal with FIFA to also cover the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
