How to disable ads based on our location on the iPhone and iPad
To be able to enjoy information or services on the Internet completely free of charge, we must bear in mind that no one works for the love of art and that advertising is the main and sometimes the only support of many pages and blogs that we are dedicated to informing for free. Not only do we have to pay editors like me who dedicate ourselves to writing daily, but we also have to pay for the servers where the web page is hosted, the contracted storage space… That’s why whenever we talk about ad blockers, we have to take these kinds of things into account. Without advertising it would not be possible to maintain this type of service.
Leaving aside the question of advertising, when we usually surf the Internet, we usually always have the location of our device activated natively, now that its consumption has been considerably reduced and it is not necessary to continuously deactivate it like bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
By having the location activated while we browse, when we visit some web pages, we can observe how the advertising that is displayed takes into account our location. Using location in ads is an easy way for small local businesses to offer their services through the Google platform, in a geographically limited way so that the money spent on advertising can be profitable. Fortunately, we can deactivate this type of advertising so that advertising based on our location is not shown.
