G-SHOCK and Rick and Morty join forces with a limited edition watch

G-SHOCK and Rick and Morty have started a collaboration for a limited edition watchmarking the start of the watchmaker’s partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Adult Swim.

The watch is obviously inspired by the animated sci-fi show, Rick and Morty, and incorporates G-SHOCK’s DW5600 model. Has a black strap covered with some drawings of the main characters in a neon green color. The Rick and Morty logo appears on the watch face, along with a green and yellow background.

To complete the product then we find the images of the main characters engraved on the bottom of the watch case. There is also the Custom EL backlight including Rick and Morty faces.

The watch is sold inside a tin packaging collectible, inspired by the green portal that is often the protagonist of the show, with the two key characters of the series imprinted on the upper part. Obviously, the G-SHOCK logo is not missing, which makes it clear that there is a watch inside. The package is inserted in a personalized box in turn, which again shows the characters, the portal, the two logos and a black background with the neon green figures that recall the strap.

Like all G-SHOCK watches, the limited edition piece includes the brand’s signature technology including impact resistance, water resistance of 200Mmultifunctional alarm clock, timer and stopwatch functions and more.

Price and availability

The G-SHOCK watch in collaboration with Rick and Morty is on sale on the G-SHOCK website at 170 dollars, with effective availability from October 26th. It can also be found at some selected retailers.

This collaboration adds to G-SHOCK’s long list of partnerships, which constantly renews its models by embracing different audiences. Among these we find the one with Octopus Brand, with the professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi, and the models inspired by Dragon Ball Z and One Piece.
