For the King: Early Access arrives on Steam from April
The award-winning manufacturer Curve Digital has entered into a collaboration agreement with IronOak Games to publish For the King, a roguelike roleplay and adventure game which sees players engaged in a procedural level mission to avenge the assassination of their king.
To celebrate the first year since launch in Steam Early Access, IronOak Games has revealed that For The King will be available in the final version from April, with versions PlayStation4, Xbox One And Nintendo Switch which will be launched in early 2019.
For The King is the first game of the IronOak Games team based in Vancouver, Canada, formed in 2015 by a group of industry veterans who previously worked at the likes of Sleeping Dogs, Dead Rising and Need For Speed.
By creating a Compelling combination of strategy, JRPG combat and roguelike elements, For The King offers a single player experience, but also the ability to play in cooperative both locally and online. Set in the spectacular and hexagonal kingdom of Fahrul, players must strategically explore and fight in this fantasy scenario in an attempt to discover and survive, in order not to succumb.
