Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier release periodthe new battle royale for smartphone set in the world of Final Fantasy VII. The announcement took place on the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show 2021where Square Enix has advised that it will be possible to pre-register for the game during Octoberand then await the official release of The First Soldier in November of this year.

During the Tokyo Game Show 2021, Square Enix confirmed that the smartphone game it will be free and will include a system of microtransactions. The controller support to ensure an experience that mimics that of a game console: just connect your smartphone to a monitor. FFVII: The First Soldier for smartphones will open pre-registrations to users in October, while it will be released in November 2021.
