Felipe Calderón: king of political spam in Mexico
According to Mitofsky Consultation Felipe Calderon is the one who sends the most political propaganda via email (I would call it spam, but I understand that Roy Campos has to “hold posture”), follows closely behind Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The question was: Have you received any mail with electoral propaganda in the last month?
- Felipe Calderón: 9.6% have received
- Andrés Manuel López Obrador: 9.4% have received
- Roberto Madrazo: 5.2% have received.
Even more interesting is against whom are these emails with electoral propaganda (that is, political spam):
- Felipe Calderón: 5.3%
- Roberto Madrazo: 13.7%
- Andrés Manuel López Obrador: 32.4%
What is obvious: the smear campaign against the PRD candidate that we see and hear daily on television and radio is reflected on the internet.
It’s good Let Mitofsky Consultation pay attention to the internet. It is bad that they just realize, it is bad to ensure that “within a few years” electoral influence through the Internet will be considered, if we consider that almost 20% of Mexicans are connected, it is a very good percentage, especially if the majority is between 20 and 30 years old, precisely the highest percentage of voters who have not yet decided and who normally will not vote.
Roy Campos needs to part with the worn out and expired AMIPCI and start seeing the real world of the internet so you can improve your reporting even more.
