Dragon Age Origins: A Remastered Version in Bioware’s Plans?

Almost 10 years after the publication of Dragon Age Origins there are small signs of a possible remastered version coming soon. The rumors were sparked by an exchange of Tweet happened in recent days between fans of the series and some members of the BioWare, the software house of EA Games which led to the birth of the saga.

To a fan asking “Will we have a chance to see a Dragon Age Origins remake / remaster someday?”, Mark Darrah, Dragon Age executive producer replied, “We hope so.”

Hopefully. It would be an involved job, however https://t.co/FOOMsKFBzR

They also added to the hopes of the fans Micheal Gamble, lead producer of Anthem, e Casey Hudson, general manager of BioWare, who commented on Darrah’s response with a series of ambiguous smileys. That was enough to ignite the hype in the hearts of fans of the series.

Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel Comics in superlative

Given the success that Dragon Age Origins and the series have achieved, it is not difficult to think of the arrival of a remastered version of the title. It is also true that at the moment BioWare’s attention is all focused on Anthem, the company’s new IP whose release is scheduled for February 22nd. For this reason, if anything a remake of Dragon Age Origins were in BioWare’s plans, we would have to wait a long time to find out more.
