Convert your Live Photos to GIF or video with LivePix, free for a limited time
During the presentation of the iPhone 6s, Apple presented a new feature derived from 3D Touch technology, which allowed us to make short videos called Live Photos, which is really a photo that is captured a few seconds before and others after the capture, with a total duration of 3 seconds. This function, which the guys from Apple have not bothered to translate into Spanishhas had a relative success among users since, although Apple could have called it GIF to make it more popular, it is not, since according to them, it is an evolution of photography.
If you are a user who has gotten used to using this feature, although little by little social networks are beginning to be compatible with this format, it is not yet fully popularized, so if we want to share it with messaging platforms or by mail, we have to convert that Live Photo to video or to a GIF. To do this, in the App Store we can find a large number of applications, all of them paid.
LivePix is one of them. This application It has a usual price in the App Store of 1.99 euros, but taking advantage of Black Friday again, we can download it completely free through the link that I leave at the end of this article. LivePix allows us, before carrying out the conversion, to control the speed of the moving image that we want to convert, remove the sound, play it in slow motion… as well as delete a part, change the direction of playback, apply filters, crop the image/video …
Once we have converted the Live Photos from the application itself we can share through Facebook, Twitter or any messaging application that is compatible with both formats.
