The Remastered Collection was developed by EA and some members of Westwood Studios. The edition includes C&C: Tiberian Dawn, C&C: Red Alert ei three contents downloadable: Covert Ops, Counterstrike and The Aftermath. Veterans and newbies alike can now experience one of the most beloved real-time strategy titles in history.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection offers audiences enhanced graphics, with native 4K support. The composer of the original titles, Frank Klepacki, had the honor of remastering a full seven hours of soundtrack. The project includes beyond 20 tracks arranged by Klepacki together with The Tiberian Sons.
The title also enjoys a particularity: it is one of the first RTS franchises to have shared the source code under GPL. Last week, in fact, TiberianDawn.dll and RedAlert.dll, along with their corresponding source codes, were released under the GPL version 3.0 license. It will unlock for years a powerful support mod for the remastered edition and community projects.
The edition of the real-time strategy title is available worldwide on PC via Origin, Steam, and as part of the Origin Access Premier membership. The price for the public is 19.99 euros while Origin Access Basic members will get a 10% on the full title.
