L’December update by Animal Crossing: New Horizonswhich includes the arrival of theChristmas event, has some exciting new features for gamers. For those who can’t wait to find out what the holiday and magic season has to offer, Nintendo has shared a new video which describes exactly what fans can expect from this new update.
The Christmas Event has arrived at Animal Crossing
A new month means new insects and fish to catch and sell or to exhibit inside the museum. With the new update, the Pond Smelt can be found in rivers along with lobsters for divers and al dung beetle at the end of this month.
While all of this is beautiful and surprising, we all know what fans are looking forward to: events. December introduces the event Toy Daybringing Christmas cheer and allowing players to decorate their islands with new DIY recipes, festive decorations, and a new style to bring the whole town to that Christmas spirit so much needed.
New toys will also be available for purchase from Nook’s Cranny, in addition to festive clothes available from Able Sisters. Although players have gotten into the merry spirit of the holly as early as October, the fun officially starts this month: There will be Christmas trees and cheer in abundance.
In addition to what’s coming to the simulation game this month, Nintendo has also offered one small anticipation about what the first event of 2021. Pavé is returning, ready to kick off a new year full of adventures and activities to do.
