BMW Romea subsidiary of the BMW Group, announces an important partnership with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. The company, in fact, confirms that it has offered its support to the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma in view of the start of the 2020/2021 theater season which, due to the delicate situation in progress, will be different from usual.

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma does not stop

Despite the difficult situation linked to the pandemic, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma does not stop and is ready to start the new 2020/2021 season. The season will open with a new staging de “The Barber of Seville”With the orchestra direction of Daniele Gatti and the direction of Mario Martone.

To support the start of the new season and the opening with Il barbiere di Siviglia will also be there BMW Rome. The Roman branch of the Bavarian company, which offers sales and assistance services for the BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad brands, has supported the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma since 2015. BMW Roma will therefore be partner of the theater for the opening of the season.

Note that the show is made following the anti COVID rules. The public will not be there but the artists will be present. The staging of “Il barbiere di Siviglia” will be transformed into a real “cinematographic production. The event will be broadcast by Rai Cultura on Rai 3 on 5 December and will be aired again on Rai 5 on New Year’s Eve.
