Apple could announce a podcast subscription service at the Spring Loaded event
Mark Gurman stated a few days ago that we did not expect great presentations for the event to be held on April 20, baptized with the name Spring Loaded. The latest related rumors, published by Peter Kafka, with this event, suggest that Apple will introduce a podcast subscription service.
Kafta comments in one of his latest tweets, that he is pretty sure that Apple is preparing its own podcast pay platform for next tuesday. This information has been confirmed by Steve Moser (MacRumors), since it coincides with the latest data found in the latest beta of iOS 14.5.

In the latest beta of iOS 14.4, in the upper right corner of the Listen tab, a bell is found that shows us all the new content that has been published recently from the podcasts that we follow.
In iOS 14.5 you will find a new icon with the image of our accountso it is more than likely that through this new icon, you will find the information related to our subscription and with the notifications of the new content that the podcasts that we follow.
The Apple Insider guys claim that for a couple of days, Apple has stopped accepting new podcast submissions via iTunes Connect. This news could be related to what Apple plans to present tomorrow, however, it could also be a scheduled maintenance of the platform.
We have been talking for several months about Apple’s plans to create a podcast subscription plan. This new platform, which Loop Ventures analysts say could be called Podcast+, will offer a selection of exclusive premium shows.
We are currently in the eighth beta of iOS 14.5, so the release of the final version shouldn’t take too longa version that will also include a large number of functions that you can see in this article.
