Apex Legends opens cross-play in beta


Electronic Arts And Respawn Entertainment announce that the cross-play functionality of Apex Legends, in high demand by fans for a long time, will enter beta next week. The 6 October PlayStation, Xbox and Origin players will have the option to play cross-play or continue on a single platform to hunt down their favorite Legends, collect loot in Kings Canyon or World’s End, and dominate the arena with Their friends.

Apex Legends cross-play, all the details

To celebrate the arrival of cross-play, an in-game event will be held, the Apex Legends – The Aftermarker Collection Event, from 6 to 20 October. The Aftermarket Collection Event will bring a brand new Flashpoint LTM where players’ health will regenerate within huge Flash Point Zones, changing navigation modes to stay alive. The event will also see the debut of the Caustic legacy and other limited-time items.

About the game

The Apex Legends Global Series Autumn Circuit will start on October 3rd. The new competition will have a prize pool of $ 500,000 and will be divided into a long series of dates. The playoffs will be on December 19th and 20th. Here is the complete list of dates of the Autumn Circuit:
