All the sea creatures you can’t miss in Animal Crossing New Horizons
The update of July 2020 for Animal Crossing New Horizons it was probably one of the most important in the game since its release. It has indeed introduced (or rather, reintroduced, since it was present in other games) the possibility of swim in the ocean and of capture of sea creatures, such as algae, crustaceans and molluscs. In this guide we will therefore go to see what sea creatures are there to catch in Animal Crossing New Horizons, how and when And how much they can resell.
How to catch sea creatures in Animal Crossing
In order to catch sea creatures, you first need to get a costume from bathroom. Between Nook catalog and the Mirco and Marco’s shopit shouldn’t be difficult to get one.
Once obtained, simply select it from the inventory to wear it. The costume will appear “on top” of the rest of the dress, which will therefore not go to occupy your pockets but will remain on you. With the swimsuit on and your hands free from tools, you can immerse yourself in the water simply by approaching the seashore and pressing the button TO (or you can also just dive from wharf or give it rocks always pressing A).
Once in the water you can start moving with theleft analog and give strokes by pressing TO. Almost immediately you will notice that in different points of the ocean there are some air bubbles that rise to the surface. It is in correspondence with these that you will find a sea creature. Once you are close enough, press B. you can dive and swim underwater, always pressing if necessary TO to push you forward faster.
Once under the surface you should notice a black shadow, which corresponds to the creature. Hovering over it will automatically capture it, but you may have to chase it for a while first. This last complication, however frustrating, will be rewarded in the event: in our experience, in fact, the creatures that escape capture the most tend to be the most rare (And expensive).
This is Pasqualo
This update not only introduced sea creatures, but also marked the return of Pasqualo (Pascal in English), a Otter greedy of scallops. Once a day, in correspondence with the capture of one of these molluscs, you will in fact have the opportunity to meet Pasqualo, who will propose an exchange.
In exchange for the freshly caught scallop you will receive a dress or a project of the set siren or one pearl, fundamental material for the aforementioned projects. Pearls can also be obtained by looking at the bottom of the sea, always in correspondence with the air bubbles of sea creatures.
All sea creatures in Animal Crossing
Sea creatures, as well as insects ei fishhave their own section in theEncylopedia present on the Nook Phone and can be donated to Blatero to be exhibited in the museum of the island. It is therefore important to know which creatures to capture and in months and at what times to find them. In the case of duplicates, you may be interested in reselling them, and in this case it is important to know how much each individual creature is worth to decide which ones to keep and which ones to discard during the ‘hunt’.
