100 new laptops with NVIDIA GeForce on the way

NVIDIA announced today, along with its partners OEMthe arrival of more than 100 new ultra-thin, light and fast laptops with a card on board NVIDIA GeForce. Among these we also find those of the last announced series, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER and 2070 SUPER for laptops.

The record-sized launch also includes a range of laptops with the RTX 2060. The new platforms are all based onTuring architecture of NVIDIA GeForcewhich incorporates core RT dedicated to support the ray tracing and theAI in real timeoffering higher performance and greater visual fidelity for popular games and major content creation applications.

Jeff Fisher, NVIDIA’s vice president of gaming, commented: “Just over 18 months ago, NVIDIA reinvented graphics with ray tracing, which represents a sea change in graphics, gaming experience and the feel of playing. Having this technology available in our laptops for just $ 999 is incredible. And, thanks to Max-Q, our customers will have a wide selection of thin and light laptops to choose from at any price range ”.

The Max-Q technology of the new Laptops

Technology Max-Q has created a new class of laptops that are more powerful and more efficient than all other products previously seen by introducing features that allow for faster performance and longer battery life:

• Dynamic Boost – Intelligently and automatically balances the power between the GPU and CPU based on the frame, increasing overall game performance. Dynamic Boost is automatic, adaptable and works and ensures better performance by limiting system energy consumption
• Low Voltage GDDR6 – NVIDIA has worked to increase memory efficiency while delivering high performance with the new GDDR6 memory low voltage
• Advanced Optimus – Offers a long battery life and smooth, immersive gameplay thanks to technology NVIDIA G-SYNC. Advanced Optimus check which GPU is best supporting the display and intelligently determine the correct balance of graphics cards based on workloads; all this, dynamically and without a reboot of the system
• Next-Generation Regulator Efficiency – Next-generation voltage regulators help optimize system design, so that the GPU runs more efficiently, while enabling higher overall performance
• Deep Learning Super Sampling 2.0 – Powered by AI processors on RTX SUPER GPU called Tensors Cores, DLSS 2.0 is an optimized deep learning neural network that increases frame rates by generating beautiful, clear gameplay images. Increase game headroom performance and maximize ray tracing settings with higher output resolutions; in addition, it guarantees a longer battery life of 20%

Price and availability

The availability of the new RTX Gaming and Studio laptops starts from the week of April 15th by several partner companies, many more laptops will be released in May. SKU specifications, configurations and pricing vary by different markets and partner availability including designs by Acer, ASUS, Clevo, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Razer and al.

The price of the RTX 2060 laptops starts at $ 999 and includes the Acer Nitro 5, ASUS ROG G512, HP Omen 15, Lenovo Y540 and MSI GF65 Thin, with many more to be announced later.
