100 new laptops with NVIDIA GeForce on the way

100 new laptops with NVIDIA GeForce on the way

NVIDIA announced today, along with its partners OEMthe arrival of more than 100 new ultra-thin, light and fast laptops with a card on board NVIDIA GeForce. Among these we also find those of the last announced series, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER and 2070 SUPER for laptops.

The record-sized launch also includes a range of laptops with the RTX 2060. The new platforms are all based onTuring architecture of NVIDIA GeForcewhich incorporates core RT dedicated to support the ray tracing and theAI in real timeoffering higher performance and greater visual fidelity for popular games and major content creation applications.

Jeff Fisher, NVIDIA’s vice president of gaming, commented: “Just over 18 months ago, NVIDIA reinvented graphics with ray tracing, which represents a sea change in graphics, gaming experience and the feel of playing. Having this technology available in our laptops for just $ 999 is incredible. And, thanks to Max-Q, our customers will have a wide selection of thin and light laptops to choose from at any price range ”.

Technology Max-Q has created a new class of laptops that are more powerful and more efficient than all other products previously seen by introducing features that allow for faster performance and longer battery life:

Price and availability

The availability of the new RTX Gaming and Studio laptops starts from the week of April 15th by several partner companies, many more laptops will be released in May. SKU specifications, configurations and pricing vary by different markets and partner availability including designs by Acer, ASUS, Clevo, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Razer and al.

The price of the RTX 2060 laptops starts at $ 999 and includes the Acer Nitro 5, ASUS ROG G512, HP Omen 15, Lenovo Y540 and MSI GF65 Thin, with many more to be announced later.
